Throughout her career, she has graced internationally acclaimed venues including The Musical Instrument Museum, Lewis Nash Jazz Club, and various International Jazz Festivals. Each performance showcases her ability to create intimate connections with audiences, whether in cozy jazz clubs or grand festival stages.
Hightower recently became a residential performer and lead partner of the Vineyard Music Fest, where she serves as an equitable owner and artist helping shape this festival into an artist-driven movement. Beginning in North Carolina and expanding to Ghana as its first international destination, the festival creates opportunities for artists to travel between countries and organically expand their reach across borders. This innovative platform reflects her commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for artists and fostering cultural exchange through music.
Her newest creative venture, "Song Sanctuary," reimagines the concert experience as a sacred space of connection and spontaneous creation. In these intimate pop-up gatherings, Hightower performs completely unrehearsed, using the audience as her muse.
